Crafty Fox Hunters Find Loophole in Hunting Ban

FOX HUNTERS used their entrepreneurial imaginations last month to create a game that allows hunters to chase “human foxes’ firing at “hem with paintball guns.

For £400, groups of up to 10 people armed with paintball guns can chase a human dressed as a fox through dense woodlands.

The alternative to the controversial sport has been launched by UKPaintball.co.uk, which operates more than 50 centres across the UK.

“Whether you agree with fox hunting or not there’s no doubt that when the hunting ban was brought in many people lost a hobby they loved,” a spokesman said.

“Now we’ve decided to recreate the experience as realistically as possible, with one main difference – we’re using a human fox, and no animal loses its life.

“Obviously we will give the fox a head start but once the horn is sounded it’s every man for himself and the first one to land a shot on target will be crowned the winner.”

He added that the only problem could be finding enough willing volunteers to fulfill the role of the fox.
