Jeremy Kyle Show Returns To US Telly

THE JEREMY KYLE SHOW returned last month (September) for a second season of the nationally syndicated US talk show, which has gained widespread viewer acceptance for its focus on families in crisis.

Kyle, an icon in the UK, launched the daily, one-hour American series last year after catapulting to fame in Britain hosting its No 1-rated daytime talk show. Debmar-Mercury, teaming with producer ITV Studios America, had at last provided US viewers with what they had long sought: a fearless daytime host who isn’t afraid to confront his guests with a straight-talking blend of empathy, insight and humor that instantly cuts to the heart of the matter.

The show, airing on a number of leading stations across the country, including those belonging to the FOX, Sinclair, CBS, Hearst, Cox, Newport and CW Plus broadcast groups, offers a compassionate guest services program. Led by Dr Janet Taylor, a prominent clinical instructor of psychiatry at Harlem Hospital and well-known media personality, it works diligently to get them the help that they need.

Jeremy Kyle launched his eponymous program in the UK seven years ago. It quickly became the country’s most dominant daytime show, a national phenomenon whose program wins viewer accolades, including receiving the TV Choice Award for Best Daytime Series in September 2011. Viewers have nominated the program for the prestigious award again this year.

His unique style allows Kyle to interact with guests who often find themselves facing difficulties that they don’t have the resources to solve on their own.
